A great 2 day ride from Ridgecrest Ca to Lone Pine. This ride will take you into the Mountains to visit the Ghost Town of Cerro Gordo and the Famous Salt Tramway. And you may encounter snow. Plan: Start from Ridgecrest at the Heritage Motel on Saturday morning. Ride to Pannament for Gas and Lunch stop. Then it is on to Lone Pine for the night. Sunday has first gas in Olancha then it is back to Ridgecrest. So this is an overnight style ride carry your gear with you, as there will be no support truck.
