This ride involves lots of tight mountainous twists and turns with a few fast sweepers and short straights. The ride can be challenging if done fast. However, the speed limit has been restricted to 60kmh for large sections due to the number of motorcycle fatalities arising from poor riding behaviour and inexperience of some riders. The ride is largely double white lined and legal passing opportunities are few. The ride passes through some lovely sections of rainforest as well as more typical Australian bush. About halfway along the ride, at the top of the Mountain is the Mialla cafe which is frequented by most riders and very biker friendly. Its a good place to stop revive survive.
