This ride is to the north east of Katherine and covers 28 kms of generally scenic bushland out along the Katherine River to the Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge).

It's well worthwhile going for a Gorge Tour on the boat once you get there but this has to be pre-booked at the Tourist Information Centre in Katherine before you go.

There is also an interesting Visitor's Centre at the Gorge which is worth a look, too. Camping, canoeing and bushwalking available.
