366 and counting...
February 5th...the 36th day of the calendar year...a day typically overlooked
in a month otherwise known for US Presidential holidays, Valentines day and
the like. Well not this year...today February 5th is special! Yep...I
know. It's Super Tuesday. A day where some of you will head to the polls and
cast your vote for change, hope, life, war or whatever it is you happen to be
impassioned about. It's also Fat Tuesday. The day where some of you will head
to the streets to celebrate Mardi Gras and the end to the pre-Lenten Carnivale
season. A pretty significant day indeed, but wait..there's more.
February 5, 2008 marks the 1st Anniversary of the launch of Sunday Morning
Rides!!! That's right. One year down. 365 days officially in the bag...and I'm
happy to proclaim "the State of SMR is confidently strong." As you already
know, we remain incredibly thankful to all of you for your continued support,
encouragement, and contributions. Rather than belabor the obvious, I simply
ask all of you to join me in a celebration of this special day...a day to
exercise your rights as citizens...a day to enjoy a bit of reckless
abandon...and a day to celebrate free GPS ride downloads.
