This ride captures nearly all of the the best roads in the Catskills, and it can be completed in one day. Take the 299 to US44 and then you are off. The roads are twisty and scenic, but can sometimes be slow due to park visitors. Also keep in mind that after any significant weather, the roads after often dirty and slippery - mudslides are not uncommon. That said, these are great roads - beautiful twisting and scenic curves with great scenery. Kaaterskill Falls is a popular hike, look for a sign off Route 23A.
