This is a great ride through Wind River Canyon, located between Thermopolis and Shoshoni. This ride starts in Thermopolis and ends in Casper. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the scenery through the canyon but beware of high winds at times. Also, gas stations are ew and far between along this route so fill up in Thermopolis and top it off in Shoshoni unless you have a large fuel tank. There are two interesting stops to make on US 20 riding east towards Casper. The first is the ghost town of Hiland. I don't think anyone lives there anymore. The second is Hells Half Acre. It is an interesting stop to view the badlands and take a break. When riding US20, beware of wildlife. Enjoy the ride.
