This is a great 250 mile loop on some of the better roads throughout the Lehigh Valley. This sure to please everyone from the Cruiser rider to the Sport Bike enthusiast.
This route starts at the Starbucks on Main St. in Denville, NJ and ends at the Exxon station on Rt. 22 in Whitehouse station, NJ
From the Starbucks you head west on Rt. 80 to Allamuchy then north through the Delaware water gap recreation area. Youll cross the Delaware using the Dingmans Ferry Bridge. Youll have to pay a $.75 toll as this is a privately owned and maintained bridge; EZ-Pass is not accepted.
You hop on Rt. 84 west for 2 exits to get around Low Knob Mountain. Once off of rt. 84 youll begin to meander your way west towards the Lehigh valley. Once you get out into the PA mountainside youll be treated to fantastic mountain views, rolling hills, and plenty of winding roads to fill out the day.
Once you get to Hawk Mountain you begin the trip back east while staying off the main roads and enjoying the solitude of rural secondary back road travel all the way to the end at the Exxon on Rt. 22 in Whitehouse.
