A majestic ride in the Sierra foothill passing by the entrance of Yosemite National Park. While the entire loop is a great ride, the undeniable star is the so-called 'Little Dragon' on SR49 north of Mariposa heading towards Coulterville. The twisties start right around Bear Valley. This 15 mile section of SR49 is nothing short of incredible - a convoluted set of 's'-curves and hairpins, both on- and off-camber. Before you push it to far, note the 200 foot cliffs on either side. The road pavement is good and the views are fantastic.
