This ride begins and ends on Interstate 55 in the great state of Mississippi. From Batesville, MS to Searcy, AR is mostly flat delta farmland. Not a lot to see other than farms and open areas. While in Searcy, I recommend visiting Honda of Searcy, the third largest Honda motorcycle dealership in the US. From Searcy on northward towards Heber Springs the scenery improves. The scenery and roads from Heber Springs on up to Mountain Home dramatically improve. Good curves, lakes and dams, rivers and quaint little towns worth stopping in for a look around. From Mountain Home over to Harrison, just a four lane highway. However, things begin to change as you turn south on highway 7 and begin to climb into the clouds and the Boston Range of the Ozark Mountains. There are many fantastic vistas (with places to stop), great twisty curves, beautiful forests, lakes, rivers and canyons. Not many gas stations between Harrison and Russellville so be sure to top off your tank.
