SD Mountains and Desert

Starting in central San Diego, this loop takes you up to Mt Laguna and down to Hwy 94 by the border. I rode the loop clockwise starting at 8am and didn't encounter any traffic (in fact most times, I was the only vehicle on the road). This a classic loop and you'll probably run into some pretty interesting folks at stops along the way. Check out the cool old-school Moto Guzzi in the media gallery. Highlights include Sunrise Highway and Highway 94 but basically the entire set of roads is great. On Hwy 95 near the Tecate turnoff, there's usually a guy taking pictures of all the motorcyclists passing by.
