Riding through Utah is different than any other state. There are many extremes and on two wheels, you get to experience them all. This is a nice 92 mile ride from I-70, through the desert to Hanksville, and west along the Fremont River to Capitol Reef National Park and into Torrey Utah. Be sure to top your tank off before you head down this route, fuel is few and far between. A good pull off and stop is Temple Wash where you can get out of the saddle and take in the view. There is a huge hogback ridge to the northwest. As you ride along the Fremont River, be sure to stop and enjoy the canyon and the river, there are several spots to do so. Be sure to visit Capitol Reef and ride down to Capitol Wash. This was the only path that the settlers could pass from east to west within 300 miles. Be sure to check out Cafe Diable in Torrey, good food and wet Tequila...
