Great little two-hour ride thought the countryside north of Highway 30 in Mississippi. The ride begins at Oxford, MS, on the Square. Since your starting your ride from Oxford Square, take some time to explore the Square. Browse the bookstores and shops. Get something to eat at one of the many great restaurants. And don't forget as you walk by the old City Hall building, stop and say hello to 'Willie', William Faulkner. Eternally fixed in bronze, he sits on his park bench in the front yard of the old City Hall, watching folks promenade around town.

After you've visited Oxford Square and gotten you fill of good food and local color, head north on North Lamar Boulevard until it interests with University Avenue at the traffic signal. Turn left onto University Avenue and head down the hill toward Highway 7 North. Go under the overpass and take the ramp heading north to Holly Springs. Continue north passing over the Sisk Avenue flyover until you see the next overpass, Highway 30 East. Take the ramp up to Highway 30 and head east. Drive about 21 miles to Highway 349. After passing over the Little Tallahachie River, at the summit of the next hill you will turn left onto 349. Drive about 1.2 miles until you intersect with CR-26 and then turn left again, continuing on Highway 349.

Highway 349 will meander though the scenic countryside and eventually bring you to a very sharp left turn at Connersville. Continue on until you begin to approach Bethlehem. Turn onto Bethlehem Road and continue enjoying about 10 more miles of beautiful scenic countryside. Bethlehem Road terminates at Waterford and intersects with old Highway 7. Turn left and head south for a few hundred feet until you see a right turn onto Wilson Golden Rd. Turn right onto Wilson Golden Rd. and stop at the intersection of new Highway 7. Turn left on Highway 7 and head south, back to Oxford.

A quick little ride that is very enjoyable with plenty of scenery. All roads on this route are maintained and most are good quality roads.
