Distance: 169 mi.
This is a scenic, 169-mile ride through some twisty and hilly roads in South East Missouri's Lead Mining area. The ride starts at Bandana's BBQ in Arnold, MO and heads south on US 67 to Farmington, MO. Take a break for lunch at The Catfish Kettle for all you can eat catfish, chicken, and shrimp. After leaving Farmington, continue south on US 67 to Hwy 72 and head West to Arcadia then turn north on Hwy 21 to Baylee Jo's for refreshments in Ironton. The scenery in this area is great. Johnson Shut-ins and Elephant Rocks Park are both nearby. Continue North on Hwy 21 through Old Mines, Potosi, and stop for a cold one in De Soto at the North End Tavern. Follow Hwy 21 North until you reach Hwy MM and follow it West to Hwy 30. Follow Hwy 30 East to Applebee's in High Ridge for some final refreshments at journeys end.
