Contributer: - (11-23-2006) Distance: 63.4 mi.
A classic Oregen road through the Southern Oregon Cascades. Except for a slight straight strech a bit past the middle (going west to east), SR66 is pretty much non-stop curves for the entire 60 miles . The scenery is classic Pacific Northwest - lush, green forest. For a mountain road the asphalt is in pretty good condition and usually pretty clean. Be aware that the side of the roads are gravel lined and often without a guardrail - so ride with care.
