Pretty much your straight-shot open-desert road without a lot of scenic relief unless you are a big fan of sagebrush. Definitely big sky country. The Little AleInn near Rachel has no gas but is a must for lunch. Maybe you'll get lucky and share it with a busload of Dutch tourists posing with the stage-prop alien.
