If you want to get a sample of SW Washington this is the ride for you. Beautiful views of the Columbia Gorge, Mt St Helens, plenty of forests and the reservoirs. This is a half day ride (start/end in Vancouver) with a great lunch stop in Stevensen. Fuel up before you leave SR14 (Stevenson is recommended). Great ride solo or with almost any size group. Take advantage of the view points for some incredible photo ops. An alternative would be to continue west to Woodland instead of south to Amboy if you need to head north on 5.
