This ride can be done in one day but I recommend taking a few days and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Arkansas mountain roads. There are many side trips off of this route one can explore if they choose too. A prime place to stay during your journey is the Lodge at Mount Magazine or in Jasper, The Arkansas House. In Hot Springs, The Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa is pivotal place to indulge in grand old Southern style luxury. The time of year you travel this route really doesn't matter really, however the spring and fall seasons is especially stunning with colorful fauna. Mount Magazine if the highest mountains plateau in Arkansas. Rising 2,753 feet above sea level, there are many spectacular views to enjoy in all directions from atop. Beyond Mount Magazine are twisty, well-maintained mountain roads to delight any motorcyclist. The route will take you by many beautiful places including striking lakeside views, high mountain vistas and vast mountain wilderness.
