Grand Rapids is the starting point for a number of Minnesota’s best motorcycle rides, including State Highway 38 to the North, which is an official National Scenic Byway. Throughout the region you will be treated to hardwood forests, Minnesota’s famous lakes, and an abundance of wildlife. This southern loop follows the Mississippi river South to the small river town of Aitken, down to the fishing resort Mille Lacs Lake and then back up through Bay Lakes district on its way back to Grand Rapids intersecting the Land o Lakes state forest along the way.
