A great scenic ride up and down hills on curvy, mostly 2-lane, country roads. Where the asphalt stops the woods & fields begin. There are several blind curves so don't override your skills.
In the middle of this ride is Holmes County, home of the Amish - Walnut Creek, Berlin, Millersburg. Sugarcreek is just to the east of Walnut Creek on Hwy 39. In "Amish Country" there are numerous paved narrow country roads running off Hwy 39 that are fun to ride and offer great vistas. Just pick one, any one. B&Bs abound but we stayed at the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek and ate at the restaurant next door (can't remember the name) with excellent food at reasonable prices. If you're going to stay in this area I recommend booking a room in advance. Amish restaurants are not open on Sunday and there are few other choices.
On several occasions for some unknown reason my GPS voice prompts were wrong but the route map was correct.
