My wife and I did this ride about a year ago. The trip had two purposes, see some historic sites in Camden and then on to visit friends in Great Falls. At the time my wife was a beginner having recently taken the MSF BRC, she was riding a 2000 Honda Shadow 600. She now has a 2003 Kawasaki Nomad 1500 and has passed the MSF Intermediate course. I have a 2003 Honda Goldwing 1800 and have recently repeated the MSF ERC. The road has some gentle twisties which she handled fine. It was a very nice trip that started from James Island, SC using the back roads. We plan on riding this road again soon. As you can tell we are great believers in rider safety and education.
