This is a fun loop that winds around the Canaan Valley in West Virginia. Canaan Valley is circular valley in the Allegheny highlands that is home to the majestic Blackwater Falls. Start at the Cannan Valley state park and take 33 to US Route 219. Take the 24 northwest to the 50, returning to the start via route 72. The run down the 72 through Parsons is a highlight of the trip that is not to be missed if you are in the area.
