Southeast SD Desert Loop

This is a nice short loop of the southeast San Diego desert that is a great ride when you only have a few hours to get away. I've ridden it both directions and I think I prefer counter-clockwise. The view and sightlines just seem a tad better. Either way it's a great way to kill a few hours...nice curvy roads witha few tighter sections to keep you on your toes. The pink taco shop in Cameron Corners is a great halfway stop for a cold beverage. Keep in mind that you'll be in the desert and it's quite a bit warmer than the coastal regions.
