This is a 98 percent secondary road route that all paved surface. Total mileage is 266 from start to finish. A great mix
of twisty roads and mountain crossings.
The route was laid out to start at a Dunkin Donuts just south of the town of Sloatsburg on Rt. 17. Its a great ride up into Roscoe NY with a lunch stop at Buffalo Zacks. There are plenty of opportunities for fuel along the route north as well as in town at the lunch break but are scarce on the return leg.
After lunch you continue north to Fishs Eddy where you turn south. You head up and over the mountain for some more fast paced rural twisty road riding. When on the secondary roads portions youll see very little traffic as these roads are extremely rural, locals only.
Although its only 266 miles, plan for the day because itll take you a while to navigate your way through the twists and turns you encounter on this route.
