This is a good route for anyone wishing to ride from the East of England to the Midlands. It picks up the A1 and the M1 west of Melton Mowbray. Nice series of bends with long straights. Watch the 30mph limits in the villages and the safety cameras. At the Melton end views over the Vale of Belvoir. A great ride on an early spring morning or in the dusk of a warm summer evening.
